Traveling:
Dear God, Be with me as I travel.
Keep me safe and alert and considerate of other drivers and forgiving of those who make mistakes.
Thank you for your presence as I drive. Amen
Also: When someone cuts me off/travels too slow in the left lane, etc.:
God be with this driver and help them deal with his/her issues.
Start of Day:
Thank you for this wonderful day.
Bless us as we begin our activities.
We ask for your presence in all that we do.
Before Cleaning House:
Thank you for this task that is before me.
Thank you for the people in this house.
Keep me mindful of people who wish
They had a home that needed cleaning.
Dressing:
As I dress for the day,
Bless my thoughts and actions
So that I may become more like Christ to all I meet. Amen.
Dishwashing:
As I wash my dishes in my beautiful kitchen,
Help me to allow your cleansing spirit to fill my heart.
Bless us in our cleansing tasks.
We are grateful for our dirty plates.
May our troubles be like bubbles.
May we feel community with these all around the world without.
Television:
As I feel your presence, may I be empowered to keep the TV turned off this morning.
May I be open to the needs of those I love, here and everywhere.
Projects:
Mother God,
Maybe you will understand the need to bring order to my days.
Help me to be more disciplined in finishing at least one project today.

Preparing Meals:
Be with me as I prepare this meal and nourish me with love
And in love may I nourish my family.
Problems:
Help me to turn over any large or small problem that would
Keep me from being one with you.

I prayed for your safe arrival today.
I prayed for your children in another country that they would find peace
And that you would be free from worry.
Almighty God, Our Heavenly Father,
I prayed for your coming journey that the Lord would carry you safe and
Bring you back safe and that God might heal your sister-in-law.

Dear Lord, I thank you for this new day.
Give me strength to cope with whatever should arise.

Dress me with your love,
Protect me with your strength.
Prayer Before Cooking:
O Nourisher of our souls, mix your blessing into the food I prepare for our bodies’ nourishment.
Prayer before Doing Dishes:
Provider, as we find ourselves nourished with food, may we be nourished by your Word.
As we clean our dishes, may we be cleansed by your love.
O Lord, Make us thankful for these dirty dishes for it means our bodies have been fed
Just as thou feeds us spiritually.
